アスコットは2018年、神戸市北区鹿の子台に開学された国際教育校です。約 2haの広大なキャンパスは豊かな森林に囲まれ、校舎、講堂、体育館、サッカーコート、農園があり、幼稚園から中学までの生徒たちが、英語により授業を受け、学校生活を楽しんでいます。また、大学受験への準備体制もあります。
教育方針として、将来、世界で活躍できるよう、自立性や表現力、学ぶことの喜びを養うよう努めています。そのために、生徒はアートや演劇、プロジェクトで発表者・演者としての経験を積みます。年間の文化的行事も盛りだくさんです。
また、アスコットでは、グローバル思考の基礎として、SDGsに力を入れています。コーヒー残滓や野菜のたい肥へのリサイクル、プラスチックの再生や3Dプリンタを用いての工芸品作り、雨水の再利用、風力発電、農園での野菜作りやいきものとのふれあい、収穫野菜の料理など、実際に生徒が自然を肌で感じられるSDGs教育を実践しています。
カリキュラムについては、中等教育は英国ケンブリッジAレベルIGCSEに、高等教育は米国WASCに準拠しており、これらの資格取得により、全世界の大学の受験が可能となります。

Ascot is an international school that opened in 2018 in Kanokodai, Kita-ku, Kobe. The vast campus of over 2 hectares is surrounded by lush forests and includes school buildings, an auditorium, a gymnasium, a soccer field, and a farm. Students from kindergarten to junior high school take classes in English and enjoy school life. There is also a system to prepare students for university entrance exams.
As part of its educational policy, the school strives to foster independence, expressiveness, and the joy of learning so that they can be active on the world stage in the future. To that end, students gain experience as presenters and performers in art, theater, and projects. There are also many cultural events throughout the year.
Ascot also places emphasis on the SDGs as the foundation for global thinking. We practice SDGs education by having students experience nature through activities such as recycling coffee grounds and vegetables into compost, recycling plastics, making crafts using 3D printers, reusing rainwater, generating wind power, growing vegetables in the farm, interacting with living creatures, and cooking harvested vegetables.
The curriculum is based on the Cambridge A-level IGCSE in the UK for secondary education and the WASC in the US for higher education, and by obtaining these qualifications, students can take entrance exams for universities around the world.
